Allyson Krowitz

Since a child, Allyson Krowitz had been submersed in art. Raised in both New Jersey and New York, Allyson later moved to Vermont in search of an academic foundation. It was in Putney, Vermont that Allyson discovered Windham College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. At the age of twenty-one, Allyson moved to Paris to continue her studies. Upon arrival, she was discovered by a modeling agent and became one of Europe's top fashion runway models. During the next six years, Allyson lived in Paris, immersing herself in its rich culture and history. There, Allyson continued to paint and study the works of Chardin, Corot, and the Impressionists painters in particular. After returning to the United States, Allyson focused her energy on larger scale private and commercial custom commissions. She gained notable recognition from a variety of clients including Gianni Versace and Sylvester Stallone. Allyson Krowitz is a 'painterly realist', an artist inspired by the romantic Florida landscape that surrounds her. She currently resides on Miami Beach.
